Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. At Life Words Church we practice tithing for the support of Christ's Body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that returning 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of tithing (Deut. 14:22-29). Tithes and offerings are worship, and must not be considered as a business transaction, but as an expression of gratitude toward God.

Automating your giving is one of the best ways to build faithfulness into your stewardship of what God has given you. Giving online allows you to view your giving history at Life Words Church. It's safe, simple and secure. You can give using a debit card or ACH/EFT transfer. We offer the opportunity to donate by credit card only as a convenience to those who manage their finances in a God honoring way.

Give In Person
Each week, there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. This is an act of worship for our members and regular attenders, as the fulfillment of the Biblical commandment to give a tithe of everything God blesses us with back to Him. At the end of each service, we pray during our time of giving, as the ushers pass around the offering baskets and collect the tithes and offering for the week. This allows Life Words Church the means to reach more people in our community and share the hope of Christ to a lost world.

If you're not in the Sacramento area or cannot use one of our other giving options, you can mail at check to us at the address below. We will respond and provide a record of your giving at the end of each year for your tax filing purposes.
